INITIAL REPORT
Tuesday was filled with jury selection in the Brooke Skylar Richardson murder trial in Warren County Common Pleas Court, and today that jury will begin hearing the evidence.
Richardson, now 20, is charged with aggravated murder, involuntary manslaughter, endangering children, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse for allegedly killing her newborn daughter in May 2017 and burying her in the backyard of her parents’ Carlisle home.

Day 2 of the trial is scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m. today with opening statements in Judge Donald Oda II’s courtroom.
Then the prosecution will then begin calling witnesses. The trial is scheduled to last three weeks.
