A theft of a beer pong table with sentimental value was reported to Oxford police on May 16, according to a police report.

An officer responded to the theft report in the 300 block of North University Avenue. The victim reported she had left the residence at approximately 3:30 a.m. that morning and beer pong table was in its place in the back yard of the residence. When she left the residence at 10 a.m. that morning, it was missing.

She said she had made the table with her father and it is important to her. The table is approximately 3 feet wide and 8 feet long painted in blue, white and yellow colorings with the word “Corona” on top. The legs and sides are yellow. The table weighs approximately 75 pounds.

The victim told the officer the value was approximately $200 but is priceless to her because she and her father spent time together making it. It was unclear who would have taken the table but the victim said she had not given anyone permission to move it.
