Chevrolet proactively reached out to the Butler County Visitors Bureau about the project last summer, according to Tracy Kocher, the bureau’s vice president of marketing and communication.
Then a six-person team from Chevrolet visited Butler County in the new Chevy Equinox.
“This is tremendous exposure for Butler County and the first time we have done something with the Donut Trail and a large brand,” Kocher said. “With a circulation of 4.5 million, this will make a huge impact on tourism to the area for years to come.”

• Since the trail opened in January 2016, some 22,000 people have completed it.
• “Donut trailers” have visited from all 50 states and 23 countries.
• 70 percent of trailers are from outside the greater Cincinnati area.
• A summer Friday can see as many as 100 or more people collecting their T-shirts.
