The Butler County Donut Trail, which just entered its fifth year, is garnering even more attention than ever before.

Chevrolet is featuring the local attraction in the latest edition of its Chevy New Roads Magazine. The print edition circulates to 4.5 million people and the Chevy Equinox is featured traveling along the trail, which features 12 donut shops in a roughly 80-mile loop route.

The print edition should be released by the middle of the month, but the online edition is available here.

“You can pick up your passport at any of the donut shops, but we strongly recommend starting in West Chester, Ohio, at the Butler County Visitors Bureau, where you’ll be greeted by friendly faces whose mission it is to help you consume as many donuts as you can, as efficiently as you can — and give you that T-shirt after you pull off the feat,” Chevy writes in its online magazine.

The article then provides details of each stop.

Chevrolet proactively reached out to the Butler County Visitors Bureau about the project last summer, according to Tracy Kocher, the bureau’s vice president of marketing and communication.

Then a six-person team from Chevrolet visited Butler County in the new Chevy Equinox.

“This is tremendous exposure for Butler County and the first time we have done something with the Donut Trail and a large brand,” Kocher said. “With a circulation of 4.5 million, this will make a huge impact on tourism to the area for years to come.”
