The Butler Coroner’s Office needs help to find the family of a Middletown man who died last month.

John Salo III, 59, lived in the 30 Block of South Main Street in Middletown, Martin Schneider, coroner’s office administrator said.

Salo was found March 26 at a residence in the 100 block of North Leibee Street. His death is still under investigation, but it did not appear suspicious.

“All our leads have come up short in locating family,” Schneider said.

Anyone with any possible information on locating Salo's family is encouraged to email the coroner's office through its website.

Schneider said in recent years the office has asked for the public’s help in finding family about four or five times.

“We have had success in most, if not all, of the efforts,” he said.
