LOCAL: Butler Tech senior killed in weekend crash to be honored during graduation ceremony
LifeSpan, a southwest Ohio social service agency, operates a guardianship program, where staff and volunteer guardians are appointed by Probate Court to make decisions for their clients relating to health care, living arrangements, or safety issues and to bring stability, safety, and companionship.
“More often than not, our guardians become a client’s only family and make crucial decisions; ensuring clients are healthy and in proper living conditions. Our guardians serve as their companion and advocate,” said Lisa Frye, LifeSpan’s guardianship program manager.
Wednesday’s event will bethe third graveside service held at Greenwood Cemetery by LifeSpan. LifeSpan was gifted a section within the Greenwood Cemetery by the cemetery’s board of directors and James Fitton, who is a previous LifeSpan board member.
A large memorial stone has also been engraved with the names of seven people who have died.
Family, friends, nursing home employees and community members are all welcome to attend the service.
Chuck Cotton, pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Middletown, will lead the service. Judge Randy Rogers and Judge Joseph Kirby will give inspirational words, according to LifeSpace.
