Brown's Marketplace moves to plaza that includes Staples, Hobby Lobby

Brown’s Marketplace, which had offered antiques, Amish-made furniture and food for five years at 1416 Main St., closed that location on Oct. 15.

Business owner John Brown said he plans to reopen the business on Dec. 1 at 740 N.W. Washington Blvd., near Staples and Walt’s Barbeque.

The new location will not have antiques and furniture, and instead focus on providing a wide variety of Amish-produced meats and cheese, baked goods and a host of food items not commonly found at large grocery chain stores, Brown said.
