UGN makes acoustic, interior trim, and thermal management products, and it is based near Chicago and has seven locations. It built its $50 million, 232,000-square-foot Monroe operation in 2015 and has hired about 280.
The proposed expansion would mean adding about a 150,000-square-foot expansion at the plant.
