Tom Hale, assistant director of the Middletown campus, has since been named acting director.
“Mimi informed the college she was retiring from her position in late May,” said school officials from the college’s main Clifton neighborhood campus, north of downtown Cincinnati.
“Cincinnati State appreciates the nearly three years of service that Mimi provided to the college and the Middletown community,” officials in an announcement.
Cincinnati State President Monica Posey said Hale has a wide record of educational leadership.
“Tom has been with the Middletown Campus since it opened, and has been an employee of Cincinnati State for 25 years. He has served in many capacities, which gives him a great breadth of leadership experience,” said Posey.
The Middletown branch of the school is at 1 North Main St. and is located in five of the six-stories of the former Cincinnati, Gas & Electric Co. office building in the city’s downtown.
The Butler County campus opened in 2012, growing from 250 full and part-time students when the Middletown branch opened to now more than 750 students.
