That application “is just a part of ongoing effort to broaden our offerings and appeal to different types of customers,” FigLeaf co-founder Jeff Fortney said.
The plans are relatively small in scale and nothing is imminent.

“We’re definitely taking a crawl-then-walk-then-run approach,” Fortney said. “We hope to have all of the logistics in place in the near term to offer wine in our taproom in addition to our solid lineup of craft beer.”
And there are also some enhancements coming on the beer front as well, the brewery’s co-founder said.

“We will also be releasing our first cans in the semi-near future,” Fortney said. “Further down the road, we will have a barrel-aged release. We are also discussing the possibility of small limited-run special releases in bottles.”
FigLeaf Brewing, which opened in October 2016, is located at 3387 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, just north of Monroe.
