Liberty Center hotel to hold job fair tonight

AC Hotels by Marriott will open its sixth property in the United States in January at the approximately $350 million Liberty Center development, according to the company.

Job seekers wanting to apply for one of about 40 jobs available can apply in-person during a job fair from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Kona Grill, a restaurant at Liberty Center in Liberty Twp., said Barry Kuhnke, general manager for AC Hotels by Marriott. Kona Grill is located at 7524 Gibson St.

Openings include positions in maintenance, housekeeping, bartending and lounge management, according to jobs website Indeed.com.

Developers are calling the 130-room AC Hotel to open in Butler County northern Cincinnati’s first boutique hotel because it’s in walking distance to shops and restaurants and hotel amenities. The AC Kitchen will serve a European breakfast and AC Lounge will feature signature cocktails, European small plates. The lounge will also have a second floor balcony. Balcony rooms on the sixth floor will overlook Liberty Center, according to Kuhnke.

Liberty Center, a mixed office, retail and residential complex located near the intersection of Interstate 75, Ohio 129 and Liberty Way, held a grand opening Oct. 22.
