Berding and Hartkemeyer received 29.62 percent and 28.05 percent of the vote, respectively, according to unofficial results from the Butler County Board of Elections. Bohrofen finished third with 21.4 percent and Bultman finished fourth with 20.93 percent.
Berding said she’s “humbled” by the results of the election and “truly enjoyed meeting so many of our residents during this campaign as I went door to door.”
“The voters spoke clearly tonight that they are happy with the progress being made in the township,” said Berding, who was appointed to the board in 2016. “I’m excited for the opportunities that lie before us. And we will continue to strive to do what is best in the interest of the residents of our community.”
