Independence Day allows for a break from work and a day of celebration for many. There are also many discount offers from stores and websites for the holiday.

CELEBRATE TODAY: Here’s your guide to Fourth of July celebrations

Here are some of the available deals for customers looking to save on the Fourth of July.

  • Coleman- 25 percent off online orders with the code JULY25
  • eBay- 20 percent off select orders over $25 with the code PARTYINUSA
  • Forever 21- 50 percent off summer styles and markdowns as low as $1 for their ongoing sale. Until July 8th, there's also 50 percent off all items.
  • Gap- 40 percent off all items online and most items in stores with the code GO4TH
  • H&M- $4 deals and up to 70 percent off select items
  • Hello Fresh- Until July 5th, get 25 percent off the first four meal kit deliveries with the code FIREWORKS2018.
  • Kohl's- Up to 80 percent off summer clearance items in stores
  • Overstock- Up to 70 percent off select items and free shipping
  • REI- Up to 40 percent off camping gear and outdoor items through July 4th
  • Target- Home and patio decoration is up to 30 percent off, with an additional 15 percent off online orders with the code AMERICA.
  • Walmart- Lower prices for seasonal items like pools and fans, as well as many electronic items.

Most of the stores at Cincinnati Premium Outlets offer store-wide sales until July 4th. This includes Carter's, Converse, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, OshKosh B'Gosh, and Van Heusen/ IZOD.

Some stores in the region are also offering deals specifically for active military and veterans to thank them for their service.

Here are some of the deals and discounts available for current or former military members with proper identification.

  • Kings Island- The park offers free admission to active duty soldiers and veterans between July 1 and 4, as well as discounts for up to six family members.
  • O'Reilly Auto Parts- Active duty, veterans and their immediate family can earn 10 percent off of most in-store items with valid ID.
  • State parks- Active duty and veterans can earn a 10 percent discount on campgrounds or rooms at Ohio state parks with military ID.
  • Verizon- 15 percent off select plans and 25 percent off select accessories with account and proof of service.
