Here’s your chance to try a FREE week of classes at Miami U.’s rec center

Group Fitness and Chestnut Functional Fitness Free Week will be offered Jan. 29 through Feb. 4. Fitness Free Week is an opportunity for people to try Miami University’s Recreation Center Group Fitness class offerings and Chestnut Functional Fitness class offerings.

Group Fitness classes include Yoga, Spinning, Zumba, Toning, Kickboxing, SilverSneakers, Kettlebell, Indo Row, and Bootcamp. These classes will be offered at the Rec Center located at 750 S. Oak St.

Chestnut Functional Fitness classes feature a variety of barbell, kettlebell, body weight, and dumbbell exercises to achieve maximal strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, endurance, and agility. Chestnut Classes will be held at Chestnut Fieldhouse, 131 W. Chestnut Road. Attendees must be 16 years of age or older to participate in all programming. Schedules vary depending on the day.

Attendees must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of any class to ensure entrance into their chosen class(es). There is no limit on the number of classes a person can try throughout the week.
