Durbin’s body was found on the west side of the river just north of the Black Street Bridge, officials said.
He was deceased when he was pulled from the river.
“Although nothing appears suspicious, there is an ongoing investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office,” the sheriff’s office said. “Cause of death is pending upon the coroner’s report.”

Hamilton police have confirmed the victim of a fatal drowning this morning in Hamilton is a male. His identity is not yet available.
Hamilton police Sgt. Rich Burkhardt said a man was walking to work on the Black Street Bridge when he saw a body. It was between the upper dam and the Black Street Bridge.
Detectives from both the county and the city are on the scene because they don’t know whose jurisdiction it will end up being. They’re still on the scene.

Butler County dispatchers confirmed a body found floating in the Great Miami River in Hamilton this morning was dead on arrival.
Crews were dispatched at about 7:15 a.m. for a possible drowning near the Black Street bridge and the upper dam, according to scanner traffic.

Crews were dispatched at around 7:15 a.m. to the area near the the Black Street Bridge and the upper dam, according to scanner traffic.
Dispatchers said the body is out of the river and they are investigating the situation.
