Each Pet Valu store partners with at least one local animal shelter or group to facilitate pet adoptions and fundraising activities. On Saturday, the store will welcome Greyhound Rescue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tails of Hope from noon to 5 p.m. and Hart Cat Adoption.
Pet Valu is known for products and services that include self-serve dog-wash stations where customers are provided all the amenities needed without having to clean up. Also popular are its lines of toys, gourmet treats, accessories, furnishings and everyday pet supplies.
