Hamilton man arrested on felony charge after police investigation

Police recovered guns and cash after searching a Hamilton apartment early this morning as part of an ongoing joint law enforcement investigation.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office BURN Task Force and Hamilton Police Department executed a search warrant on Stephens Street,

Officers said they seized two firearms and $4,000 in cash. Kareem Randolph, 41, of Hamilton, was arrested, charged with having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony, and a parole violation.

Randolph was convicted previously on drug-related charges and having weapons while under disability in 2017, according to Butler County court records.

Butler County Sheriff’s Richard Jones said the investigation is on-going.

“It’s a team effort to get these drug dealers off the street,” he said.

Randolph is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning in Hamilton Municipal Court.
