“The Hamilton Police Department would like to thank the community for the tips received over the past few days and the information received from several of the officers, who identified the suspect responsible in Monday’s First Financial bank robbery,” Collins said in a statement.
Police said Cloninger walked into the bank just before 2 p.m. and gave the teller a note advising that he had a gun and demanded cash.
He was caught on the bank’s surveillance video, but never displayed a weapon, police said.
