The Hamilton Fire Dept. responded Tuesday afternoon to a small fire in Combs Park, 1000 North B St.

Fire Investigator Trevor Snider said firefighters responded to a call about a possible fire in the area and found out that it involved a homeless camp.

“There was a fire in that area and it was a homeless camp,” Snider said. “It was a small camp that was set-up back in the woods in that area with a group of homeless people.”

Snider said the fire was put out with no damage “outside of a few belonging for the people in the camp.”

There were no injuries, he said.
