A Mason man, 53-year-old Peter McCreary, was pronounced dead at 6:08 p.m. July 13. The Butler County coroner determined his death was accidental caused by multiple blunt force trauma.
McCreary was riding a motorcycle on West Chester Road when he crashed into another vehicle and became wedged under it at Ridgemont Drive.
A second man, 39-year-old Jamar D. Scott, from Cincinnati, was pronounced dead at 12:26 a.m. Monday. The coroner ruled his death accidental and caused by traumatic asphyxia.
Scott was found pinned against a guardrail on Muhlhauser Road near Allen Road in the vicinity of IKEA at around 11 p.m.
UPDATE @ 3 p.m. July 16:
The Butler County Coroner’s Office said they are not yet able to identify the two people killed in crashes in West Chester Twp. over the weekend.
Officials there said they had a busy weekend and the identifications will not be coming out until tomorrow at the earliest.

FIRST REPORT, July 16:
Police are still investigating a crash that occurred Sunday night on Muhlhauser Road near Allen Road in the vicinity of IKEA. A man was found pinned against a guardrail at around 11 p.m. following the crash, township spokeswoman Barb Wilson said. A passerby called in the incident but did not witness it happen.
There were no witnesses, according to police.

Another crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle that happened at around 4:45 p.m. Friday.
A motorcycle driver became wedged under a vehicle at West Chester Road and Ridgemont Drive.
Crash scene reconstructionists are still working on that incident, according to Wilson.
