22-year-old killed in motorcycle crash in Ross Twp. identified

A fatal Ross Twp. crash that happened Wednesday morning led to officials closing off the 2000 block of Ross Hanover Road to investigate. CONTRIBUTED/ROSS POLICE

The 22-year-old man who died Wednesday in a Ross Twp. motorcycle crash has been identified by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Nanfeng Wang of Oxford died at the scene of the crash about 11:19 in the 2000 block of Ross Hanover Road. Wang died of multiple traumatic injuries and his death was ruled an accident, according to the coroner’s office.

Wang was a Miami University student, according to Butler County Sheriff’s Office investigators.

Preliminary investigation indicates Wang was operating a 2021 Suzuki motorcycle east on Ross Hanover, lost control, traveled off the right side and struck a fence, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Butler County Serious Traffic Reconstruction Team is continuing to investigate.
