Byrne joined TQL in 2005 and has been executive vice president for the past 10 years.
“Kerry has helped to lead the company from $192 million in sales and 250 employees in 2005 to more than $2.1 billion in sales and 3,100 employees in 2014. He has been instrumental in helping take us from an entrepreneurial start-up to an industry leader in truckload logistics,” Oaks said in a provided statement.
Last year, Total Quality Logistics surpassed $2 billion in sales. Its best sales year to date beat the previous record of approximately $1.6 billion in sales achieved in 2013, according to the company, which has sales offices in Centerville and West Chester Twp.
“My primary responsibility is still with the sales organization — growth, training and leadership development within that group. The scale of the sales organization has increased significantly over the years and now consists of about 3,100 professionals. We want to keep those increases going at 100 miles per hour,” Byrne said.
