The Main Street location is set to reopen as Dollar Tree in the coming weeks with grand opening festivities, including door prizes, face painting, coloring contests and more. Dollar Tree sells all of its products for $1.
In the meantime, Family Dollar is offering 20 percent off items in the store excluding tobacco, beer, wine, milk and all red-tag merchandise. Discounts are taken off the lowest ticketed price and exclude $1-and-less items.

Dollar Tree officials haven’t yet replied to a request by this media outlet regarding how many of the Family Dollar locations in Butler and Warren counties will make the switchover to Dollar Tree instead of closing outright.
Renovated stores will include $1 Dollar Tree merchandise sections.

Family Dollar has struggled since Dollar Tree bought the company in 2015 and has affected the success of Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree has been aggressive about restructuring its portfolio recently. In the last quarter of 2018, 84 Family Dollar stores closed and the company announced plans to renovate 1,000 in 2019.
