Fairfield wants help telling its story.

City officials sent out an email to residents telling them they’re “in the midst of refreshing some signs and brand materials to help better tell the Fairfield story.” The city contracted with Covington, Ky.-based BLDG Refuge to create a design “that shares our history but sets us up for the future,” according to the email.

“People who live here, work here, and/or play here know better than anyone what the qualities are that make Fairfield a great place to be,” said city spokeswoman Jenny Dexter.

“We need them to tell us those qualities so that we can shape an exciting, energetic design as the identifiable look of the city that incorporates our history and points the way to our future.”

To help tell Fairfield’s story, city officials are asking residents to fill out an online survey to find out what the city means to them, and what they’d like to see improved or changed.
