Mancuso said the Fairfield Lane Library is the busiest of its three branches, which includes Hamilton and Oxford. There have been no confirmed cases reported at the Hamilton and Oxford branches, she said.
The Fairfield Lane Library is at 1485 Corydale Drive, part of the Village Green Park in downtown Fairfield, the community that has seen the most COVID-19 cases in Butler County since the first reported confirmed case in mid-March.
As of Wednesday, there have been 2,266 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases in Butler County since March 11. Fairfield’s ZIP code, 45014, has seen about a quarter of those cases, according to the Butler County General Health District.
There is a pop-up testing site until 2 p.m. today at 4601 Dixie Highway, where the plaza where Goodwill and OhioMeansJobs are located. That same location will have another pop-up testing site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 30.
A previous pop-up testing site was held earlier this month at Aldi in Fairfield.
The state of Ohio has labeled Butler County at the red level, which is a Level 3 public health emergency out of the state’s four-level color-coded COVID-19 advisory system. Being at Level 3 means four or five of the seven virus indicators are present in the county, and community spread is present and increasing.
