John Kirsch, a CPA and partner in the firm, said his company liked its Village Green offices, except that with 10 percent to 15 percent employee growth over the past five years, the business needed more space.
The 25-year-old company looked in Fairfield, West Chester Twp. and elsewhere in the county, but picked a space in Hamilton’s revitalized and historic downtown.
“A good segment of our workforce is younger folks, and we like the fact that there were lots of new and interesting things happening in downtown Hamilton, and wanted to be part of that revitalization,” Kirsch said. He noted the area also provides “a sense of community.”
“There’s some character and community,” Kirsch said.
The company’s Oxford office will continue normal operations. Company clients come from north of Dayton to Northern Kentucky, he said.
“It’s a pretty big win for us,” said Hamilton City Manager Joshua Smith, who said other companies also are being booked, and businesses have been interested in the building’s first floor, but the developers have said no, because they’re looking for ideal tenants. “It’s great news.”
