Einstein Bros. Bagels opens first Butler County cafe in West Chester

The first Butler County Einstein Bros. Bagels opened last month in West Chester Twp., according to the franchise owner.

The café chain serving bagels, coffee and more opened at 9216 Allen Road, near the corner with Union Centre Boulevard, and includes a drive-through, said Marty Anderson, a franchise operations partner.

Anderson and his franchise partners purchased the building at the site, which also houses Patty Burger, he said.

“The whole building has been totally redone from the inside to outside,” he said.

In addition to the namesake bagels baked in-store every day, Einstein Bros. also serves egg and other types of sandwiches, Paninis and salads, according to the company. The local franchise group also owns a restaurant near University of Cincinnati, but chose to open the first Einstein Bros. location north of downtown in West Chester with plans to add more locations in the region in the future, Anderson said.

“One of the reasons is just a good quality customer base up in this area,” he said. “It’s a great community with a lot of businesses and the location on Union Centre Boulevard is an excellent spot to be.”

West Chester store hours are 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays; and 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sundays.
