A Hamilton man recently told the Journal-News that he was upset the City of Hamilton took down a roadside memorial for his daughter, who was killed in a crash two years ago.

The incident brought up the issue surrounding such memorials: Are they an innocent and helpful way to remember loved ones, or are they distractions that cause dangers?
