Woman discovers wallet — and the $1,000 stuffed inside it — missing at IKEA

A woman from Indian Hill lost $1,000 after someone allegedly rifled through her wallet while she was shopping at IKEA in West Chester Twp.

The incident occurred at around 5 p.m. May 16 at IKEA, 9500 IKEA Way.

Police reports indicate the 40-year-old woman believes she put her wallet down and someone grabbed the cash.

The Michael Kors wallet — valued at $300 — was later recovered.

The incident is under investigation, according to police.
