A Fairfield Twp. man is charged with reckless operation after his vehicle crashed into the side of a Fairfield smoothie shop.

Noel McNeal, 23, of Princeton Road, was driving a silver Toyota 4Runner when it crossed the center line, ran left off the road into a parking lot around 7:15 p.m. Friday in the 8700 block of Michael Lane.

After running over multiple parking lot curbs, the vehicle landed on top of another car — a black BMW 750i in the drive-thru lane — and into the side of Smoothie King, 8744 Michael Lane.

Police say McNeal was driving his vehicle at 50 mph, twice the speed limit in that area.

There were no apparent injuries to the driver of either vehicle or the passenger inside the car that was struck.
