Tim Agee, 31, was charged with obstructing official business and for his holder through the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. He pleaded guilty on Wednesday and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, records show. Jamie Roesch, 35, was charged with obstructing official business. Her pre-trial hearing is set for March 18.
Several witnesses told officers that Adkins fired a shotgun after getting into a “verbal altercation,” according to the police report. Police found a rifle scope of Adkins’ front hoodie pocket and Adkins told police that Agee was still in the house and he fired the gun, according to the police report.
Several SWAT officers and police officers surrounded the house, and an officer ordered Agee and anyone else in the house to walk out of the front door. After more orders, Roesch exited and she was detained. Then Agee exited and he was detained.
Agee told police while he was walking through the yard he was confronted by the witnesses on the scene. They told him to stop walking through the private property, he told police. When Agee yelled back, he said, the witnesses got pieces of wood and chains and threw bricks at him.
That’s when he ran into a house and told Adkins what happened. Adkins then allegedly walked outside and fired one round.
Adkins told police he fired a zip gun made out of white PVC pipe. Police were unable to locate the weapon.
