Gable was first found behind Skateway on Verity Parkway acting “suspicious,” and when he saw police officers, he ran, Birk said. Gable was chased from Verity to Tytus Avenue and Nelbar Street, Birk said.

Middletown police have a person in custody after a foot chase that began on Tytus Avenue.
Officer Becky Leukhardt-French responded to a residence on Tytus Avenue on a report of a suspicious person. The male ran with the the officer giving chase. The suspect was located in a park on Nelbar Street behind a house by Major Andy Warrick and taken into custody, according to Major David Birk.
The suspect is wanted on outstanding warrants, Birk said. He was taken to Kettering Health Network Middletown for treatment of a cut to his hand that he sustained when he jumped a fence, Birk said.
