Police: suspect attacks couple in car with knife

HAMILTON POLICE REPORTS

May 8

A woman told officers she was involved in a car accident near Dixie Highway and Belle Avenue. The victim said a suspect got out of the car and pushed her. According to a report, the suspect walked away but then pushed her again.

An assault was reported in the 200 block of Warwick Avenue. The victim said the suspect punched him in the left shoulder after a property dispute.

A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Gordon Smith Boulevard. The victim said someone broke into his apartment and stole $450.

An assault was reported near the corner of Central Avenue and Dixie Highway. A man and a woman told officers they were in a car when the suspect threw a rock at the car. According to a police report, the suspect then “climbed on the top of the car and stuck a knife into the car through the sunroof and started waving it around in the direction of victim’s #1 face.” The victim had a minor cut to his left palm. The victim told officers he was able to drive away.

A woman told officers someone threw a hot cup of coffee at her, burning her skin. This happened at a Circle K store, 2166 Pleasant Avenue. The victim said she got in her car and drove away.

An assault was reported at 2 Sirena Drive. The victim said the suspect pulled out a knife and cut the victim on his right arm. According to a report, the attack happened after both were arguing about an extension cord that was unplugged.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Ludlow Street for a report of an assault. A woman told officers the suspect grabbed her around her neck and attempted to push her over a staircase railing.

May 9

Someone disassembled six air conditioning units valued at $100,000 at Imflux, 3550 Symmes Road. According to a report, the suspects cut all the copper lines and wires inside of them and took the air conditioning coils. Four units were stripped, two other units were damaged.

MIDDLETOWN POLICE REPORTS

May 10

A man told officers a dog bit his son on his right arm and the back of his right knee. Officers observed puncture marks on the arm and knee. The victim was treated at Atrium Medical Center and released. The incident happened in the 200 block of Santa Fe Road.

May 11

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Lafayette Avenue for a report of juvenile with a gun. The victim said he knocked on a door, and a 14-year-old came to the door with a gun and pointed it at him and told him to get off the property. Officers talked to the suspect and discovered the gun was actually an air soft gun.

May 12

Someone stole two commercial hedge trimmers valued at $1,050 and an Echo pull hedge trimmer valued at $850. The incident happened in the 1300 block of Trinity Place. The victim said the tools were in the back of his truck.

A man told officers his wife has been using his credit card to pay for drugs. He also said that she has sold his personal items to buy drugs. According to a report, the man has located spoons, needles, glass pipes and other drug paraphernalia. The incident happened in the 3000 block of Omaha Street.

A man told officers his girlfriend stepped out of the shower and saw the groundsman from the apartment building inside their home. According to a report, the groundsman walked in for some unknown reason. The incident happened in the 2300 block of Tytus Avenue.
