Police reports: Yoga pants stolen from Target

April 22

Two Middletown residents, Brian Dunn, 37, of Lind Street, and Rachel Simpson, 31, of Lind Street, were charged with two counts of petty theft from UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway.

April 23

A Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, valued at $600, was stolen from Kay Jewelers, 3461 Towne Blvd. The theft was discovered during an audit.

April 24

Four tires were slashed on a vehicle that was parked in the 600 block of Yankee Road.

April 25

When a resident who lived in the 4300 block of Central Avenue returned to her residence after a fire that occurred on March 17, she discovered a safe that contained gold necklaces, rings, dishes, personal documents and between $2,000 to $3,000 in cash missing.

A black iPhone 4 was stolen while a Franklin resident was at a party in Middletown. She traced her phone to a residence in the 1000 block of Jackson Lane, but the residents denied knowing anything about the phone. The phone was remotely locked.

A Middletown woman said she was contacted by someone from Craig’s List about her leather couch that was for sale. She received two money orders for $975, but when she took them to her bank, she was told they were fake.

While residents in the 3400 block of Jewell Avenue were at a funeral, someone broke into their home and stole a ring with a green stone and $26 in change.

A man grabbed a 40-ounce beer from MidTowne Carryout, 2000 Central Ave., and took off running.

April 26

A flat screen TV, valued at $200, and a matching set of silver earrings and necklace, valued at $100, were stolen from a residence in the 3600 block of Greenview Drive.

A homeless man living in the woods behind Hope House, 34 S. Main St., was charged with assault because he allegedly hit another man with a wooden stick. Ivan English, 50, at large, allegedly hit the man when the man wouldn’t leave his camp. The man had a large amount of swelling on the left side of his face.

An air conditioner, valued at $3,000, was stolen from a vacant property in the 2400 block of Elmo Place.

Forty-two Klonopin were stolen from a residence in the 1300 block of Fairmount Avenue.

A Samsung 4G cell phone and an Ohio State jacket were stolen from a residence in the 1900 block of First Avenue.

April 27

Tim Miller, 25, of Baltimore Street, was charged with petty theft and trespassed off UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway, property after he allegedly stole a Monster drink and soda, both valued at $4.88.

At least five boxes of various cold medicines were reported stolen from UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway. The manager made a copy of the shoplifting incident onto a DVD.

Brittany Warndorf, 19, of Trenton, was charged with petty theft after she allegedly stole a shirt and yoga pants from Target, 6775 Roosevelt Parkway.

A Bryant air conditioner was stolen from outside a residence in the 200 block of South Breiel Boulevard.

A 1-year-old white female Maltese dog was reported stolen from a residence in the 2900 block of Wilbraham Road. A mini van was seen leaving the area.
