Police looking for 3 people who attacked man with crowbar

HAMILTON POLICE REPORTS

May 16

Someone stole a woman’s German Shepherd dog. The woman told police she put the dog on a leash in her yard and an hour later, the dog was missing from her yard. The incident happened in the 2600 block of Elmo Avenue.

A woman told police that someone stole her wedding rings and other jewelry valued at $16,500, tools valued at $3,000, and a gun valued at $1,400. The theft happened in the 300 block of Kenyon Drive.

May 17

A woman told police that someone ransacked her house and stole $200 worth of food. The incident happened in the 400 block of North Third Street.

Someone assaulted a man with metal pipe near the intersection of Skillman Avenue and Emery Avenue.

An assault was reported near the corner of Dixie Highway and Belle Avenue. A woman said the suspect grabbed her and pounded her head against a wall.

May 19

A man told police he got into a physical altercation with a suspect who cut him with a knife in the 300 block of South B Street. Police report the victim suffered a “severe laceration” to his left shoulder.

A man’s refrigerator was reported stolen from the 600 block of Heaton Street.

A woman told police that a man assaulted her when “she refused to have sex with him in exchange for loaning her money.” During the assault the victim said the suspect stole $20 and “smashed” her cell phone. The incident happened in the 1600 block of South Erie Boulevard.

Police responded to the 3100 block of Dixie Highway after a man told them the suspect was “extremely intoxicated” and threatened to harm him with a meat cleaver. The victim was able to get away and call police.

May 20

An assault was reported in the 1100 block of Shuler Avenue. The victim said the suspect came to his apartment and began arguing with him. The victim told police that the suspect hit him in the head with a candle holder. Police reported the victim had a minor cut to his forehead.

May 21

Police are looking for three suspects involved in an attack. According to a report the suspects used a crowbar to beat the victim, they also stomped on the victim’s ankles and wrists and poured an unknown liquid on the victim. Police say the victim suffered “extreme facial injuries,” as well as broken teeth and possible broken ankles. Paramedics transported the victim to West Chester Medical Center for treatment. The assault happened in the 500 block of North 6th Street.

MIDDLETOWN POLICE REPORTS

May 21

Officers arrested a male juvenile for robbery. A Pizza Hut worker told officers the suspect put a gun to her head and demanded money. She gave him the money she had which was $25. According to a report the suspect ran towards a wood line. The incident happened in the 4800 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

Officers arrested Adam Green for aggravated menacing. A woman told officers Green drove by her house and fired a gun at her house. The incident happened in the 2200 block of Crescent Boulevard. Officers located a shot gun shell and a 9mm gun.

May 22

Paramedics and officers responded to the 5200 block of Dixie Highway for a report of a possible drug overdose. Officers observed a man slumped over, unresponsive but breathing. Paramedics transported the victim to Atrium Medical Center for treatment.

May 23

A burglary was reported in the 500 block of Garfield Avenue. Someone broke into a woman’s shed and stole a power saw, a snow blower, a weed eater and a chainsaw.
