Police: ‘Large-scale’ drug dealer arrested in Middletown

A “large-scale distributor of methamphetamine” in Middletown and Warren County was charged with drug trafficking and possession after the Middletown Division of Police, working with the Warren County Drug Task Force, investigated and executed a search warrant for narcotics at 3218 Beatrice Drive, police said.

As a result of the search warrant at the residence of Danielle Carr, 200 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of fentanyl and ecstasy were located, police said. Two loaded handguns were also seized, they said.

Numerous people inside the residence were arrested with more criminal charges forthcoming, police said.

The following were arrested:

James Gambrel, drug possession and warrants;

Brandon Gambrel, warrants out of Middletown;

Justin Carr, obstructing official business/warrants;

Nathan Berry, warrants out of Butler County Sheriff’s Office;

Major Scott Reeve wrote that the police department “remains committed to driving drug dealers out of the city and will continue to reduce criminal activity with relentless investigation.”
