Police investigating after gunshots fired at man sitting on Hamilton porch

Hamilton police are investigating gunshots fired at a man sitting on porch Wednesday afternoon in the Lindenwald neighborhood.

Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Benninghofen Avenue about 3:30 p.m. on a felonious assault report, according to the police report.

DaShawn Sudberry, 26, of Hamilton, said someone tried to harm him with a deadly weapon.

Sgt. Richard Burkhardt said shots were fired at Sudberry while he was sitting at a residence. He was not injured.

Sudberry is not being cooperative with police, Burkhardt said, but detectives are looking for witnesses and security video from area businesses that might have captured the incident.
