The woman said she heard her father, who is the homeowner, arguing with someone. When the woman realized something was wrong, she fled the house and called 911, she told police.

When officers arrived they heard noises coming from the garage, which is where they found the homeowner bound and bleeding.

The homeowner told police he encountered Morris at the back of his house and said Morris struck him multiple times with an object before dragging him to the garage. The man was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
