A Moraine man will be sentenced at the end of the month after he changed his plea in connection to the remains of a missing Middletown woman found on his property in 2018.

Gilbert Todd Revere, 59, is now pleading no contest to two counts of tampering with evidence and one count each of failure to report knowledge of a death and gross abuse of a corpse, court records show.

Revere is scheduled to be sentenced June 30 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

The remains of Michelle Burgan, 47, were discovered in September 2018 behind Revere’s home in the 5500 block of Hemple Road.

Burgan was reported missing May 16, 2017, in Middletown.

Michelle Burgan went missing in May 2017. She was last known to be at the Hope House in Middletown, but her remains were found behind a home in Moraine in September 2018.

Middletown police asked Moraine police to check the property for Burgan, whose remains were found under a tent in a wooded area. Court documents show that police found Burgan’s Social Security card, prescription medication and other personal belongings.
