An OVI checkpoint on northbound University Boulevard saw law enforcement officers check 153 cars from 11 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday.
Of the 153 cars checked, seven were diverted for further investigation, said Pete Reising, Butler County OVI Task Force Coordinator.
Of those seven:
• one driver was arrested for OVI
• three were arrested for driving under suspension
• one was arrested for no drivers license
• one passenger of one vehicle was arrested on two outstanding warrants
The OVI Task Force staffed the checkpoint with Middletown police officers, deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
