A Hamilton man was injured Wednesday afternoon in three-vehicle crash involving an Edgewood school bus.

Timothy Delaney, 56, of Blue Gill Court, was taken to Atrium Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries from the crash scene in the 3200 block of Trenton-Oxford Road (Ohio 73), according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office report.

The school bus with students aboard was stopped dropping off a student. An SUV driven by Katherine Bradbury, 74, of Camden, was stopped behind the bus, according to the report. Delaney was driving west on Ohio 73 in an Astro van when he failed to control the van, crossed the center line, side swiped Bradbury’s vehicle and then struck the rear of the bus, according to the report.

Delaney was cited for failure to control, the report says. Bradbury and the students on the bus were not injured.

Students on the bus were safe and were taken on another bus back to Seven Mile Elementary School, Superintendent Russ Fussnecker said.

Parents were to be connected with the students at the school and not the accident scene.
