Guns, 250 Wright State college basketball shirts stolen from cars in West Chester

Thieves took advantage of drivers who left their cars unlocked recently, stealing firearms and 250 Wright State University basketball shirts.

A rifle, a pistol and a tactical duffel bag, all valued at $1,240, were taken from a vehicle in the 6200 block of Commanche Drive, sometime prior to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 21, according to police reports.

In another incident, 250 Wright State University basketball shirts, valued $1,250, were taken from a car parked in the 6800 block of Founders Row sometime prior to 10 p.m. Nov. 13, according to a police report.

Earlier in the week a Dell laptop and a Kenneth Cole back pack, all valued at $1,500, were taken from a car parked in the 6700 block of Timberwood Drive.
