The stepfather said police had dropped his son off at home after he was intoxicated at Jungle Jim’s on Dixie Highway in Fairfield. The stepfather said when Musyoki came home “he began threatening him.”

“(The stepfather) told me he wants his stepson to leave for the day because he is extremely intoxicated,” according to the report. He later told police he was “drinking vodka and beer all day,” according to the report.

Before leaving he went to get a leather coat from his room, put it on and started to stare at the wall. He did that one more time before leaving his room, and then before leaving the home stopped and stared at his stepfather.

As the officer was about to escort Musyoki off the property, he patted him down at which point “he shoved his harms towards me and tried to get away.”

The officer wrestled Musyoki to the ground and placed him in handcuffs, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The stepfather refused to file charges for the threats and declined to write a statement. Musyoki, who apologized for the fight, was transported to the Butler County Jail.
