The City of Hamilton Electric Department is experiencing a power outage this afternoon on the Shuler Avenue circuit.

The following locations are without power: Minor Avenue, Hamilton Plaza, Lincoln Avenue, Shuler Avenue, Parkamo Avenue, Grand Boulevard, Pater Avenue, Allstatter Avenue, Bender Avenue, Hensley Avenue, Parrish Avenue, Edison Avenue, Kahn Avenue, Van-Buren Drive, Sky Meadows Trailer Park areas.

Hamilton Electric has found the source of the outage and crews are being dispatched to resolve the issue.

The department is urging people to stay away from downed power lines and anything with which they come in contact, especially metal fences. If you see a downed power line please call 911. Treat every downed power line as if it is energized, the department said.
