Coronavirus: Rep. Davidson to hold second COVID-19 tele-townhall

U.S. Rep. Warren Davidson, R-Troy, will host a district-wide telephone town hall to discuss the economic response to the nationwide COVID 19 outbreak.

The district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Columbus office, Everett Woodel, will be on the call to address questions about loans for small businesses and the Payroll Protection Program. Jerome Jones, SBA lender relations specialist at the Columbus office, will also be on the call.

Davidson and the two SBA representatives will also answer questions about the federal programs in place to help those facing financial hardship as a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The teleconference will be one hour and is set to take place at 6 p.m. today.

This is the second coronavirus-focused town hall hosted by Davidson. The first was held on March 26 with epidemiologist Dr. Edward Septimus to discuss the public health and medical risks associated with coronavirus.
