“As a provider of an essential service, we are determined to continue delivering the reliable power you need while helping to protect the health and well-being of our community,” the message reads. “Since some customers may be facing unusual financial hardships, we are suspending disconnections for nonpayment effective immediately.”

The city of Middletown will not be shutting off water to customers facing possible disconnection until next month.
“To assist our community during this time, water shut-offs will be temporarily suspended through April 3,” a release from the city states. “This coincides with the current Middletown City Schools closure issued by the Governor. All outstanding balances will remain due.”
More closings have also been announced, including the Voice of America Museum in West Chester Twp. which will be closed until March 31. March and April events have been postponed due to the pandemic.
“We want to do our part to make certain museum patrons, as well as volunteers and docents, stay healthy and diminish the possibility of future contamination in the community,” said Jack Dominic, museum director. “After March 31, we’ll reassess the situation and begin to look at rescheduling postponed events.”
The Butler County Health District has closed its clinic while it handles coronavirus preparations. Vaccinations and tuberculoses walk-ins will not be available.
In Warren County several offices are discouraging visits from the public. The Warren County Auditor, Treasurer, Recorder and Map Room are closing their lobbies to the general public. The respective offices will still be staffed and operating.
Residents are encouraged to utilize the drop box located outside the front door of the County Administration building to submit correspondence including any payments for those respective offices as well as payments for Water/Sewer service.
