Kings Island has announced that passes purchased for the 2020 season will be valid for the 2021 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

2020 season passes and add-ons will be valid for the remaining 2020 season when the park opens. They will also be valid through the 2021 season according to the pass type.

For those enrolled in the Easy Pay Program for season passes, billing stopped on April 8 and will not begin until the park re-opens. When the park reopens, billing will start again. Passholders will need to be current on payments to receive both 2020 and 2021 Season Pass admission and benefits.

Mike Koontz, vice president and general manager of Kings Island, said it was Kings Island’s priority to keep people safe.

“As we face these unprecedented circumstances, I want to thank you for your patience and support of Kings Island. We continue to monitor and follow local and national health directives while preparing to open our park as soon as it is safe to do so,” he said. “We want nothing more than to reopen our park and welcome you back, but our priority for now is to keep everyone safe. This is a challenging time for us all, and we thank you again for your understanding and loyalty to Kings Island.”
