Coronavirus cases rise to 151 in Butler County, no more deaths reported

The number of coronavirus cases in Butler County rose to 151 on Thursday, and one more case was reported in the city of Middletown.

Butler County reported no more deaths on Thursday, as that total remains at three. There are 149 confirmed cases and two probable cases.

Middletown spokeswoman Shelby Quinlivan said today the latest confirmed case of COVID-19 was a 54-year-old female who was hospitalized and is now at home. This raises the number of confirmed cases in the city to 21.

As of 2 p.m. today, the Ohio Department of Health has reported 8,239 confirmed cases in Ohio with 2,331 hospitalizations that includes 707 admissions to Intensive Care Units across the state. The median age of people confirmed with COVID-19 is 54 and the age range is from under 1 year of age to age 104. There have been 373 Ohioans confirmed deaths from COVID-19 statewide.

Warren County has reported 89 confirmed cases, 16 hospitalizations, and four deaths, as of today.
