1. RHYTHM & BREWS FESTIVAL
The inaugural Rhythm & Brews Festival is scheduled for 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday and features classic rocker John Waite headlining the event. There will be more than 60 craft beers from 24 breweries and several vendors with food for purchase. Other musical acts include blues band Chuck Brisbin and the Tuna Project, rockers 3 Day Rule, country group the Kevin McCoy Band and funk band The Almighty Get Down.
Waite is the former lead singer of British pop rock group The Baby’s and super group Bad English. He also had a solo career in the 1980s, one that included smash hit “Missing You” climbing to Number One on the Billboard Top 100 chart in 1984.
Admission to the Rhythm & Brews Festival is free.

2. TRUCKS ON THE TRACK
Trucks on the Track, a food truck festival, rolls into Miami Valley Gaming from noon to 10 p.m. July 8. The event feature more than 20 food trucks on the front stretch of the racetrack with barbecue, burgers, wings, pizza, desserts and more for sale. The event also will feature several local bands performing throughout the day
3. HERMAN’S HERMITS STARRING PETER NOONE
Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone perform in the grandstands at MVG on Aug. 3. Noone is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist and actor best known as the lead singer of 1960s pop group Herman’s Hermits. Classic hits include “I’m Into Something Good”, “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter”, “I’m Henry The Eighth I Am” just to name a few.

4. SHOWER THE PEOPLE: A TRIBUTE TO JAMES TAYLOR
Shower The People: A Tribute To James Taylor will perform in the grandstands on Aug. 5.
5. CINCINNATI METROPOLITAN ORCHESTRA
The Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra, a 60 piece non-profit symphony orchestra and vocal ensemble will play a free concert in the grandstands Aug. 6.
6. LEBANON FORD CAR SHOW
For the second consecutive year, classic cars, trucks and motorcycles will flock to MVG parking lots for the Lebanon Ford Car Show. Scheduled for Aug. 27, the event features an award for best of show and other categories.

7. PIGMANIA
New event Pigmania come to MVG on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. The event a cook off sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society, with Several competitive barbeque teams from across the country already signed up to compete for $15,000 in prize money at the event.
In addition to the cook off, there will be live music and more for the public at this free admission event.
8. THE SPINNERS
Motown vocal group The Spinners takes the stage at MVG grandstands on Sept. 15. The group boasts 20 songs that hit the Billboard Hot 100, mainly during the 1960s and 1970s, including “Working May Way Back To You/Forgive Me Girl”, “Games People Play”, “Then Came You”, and “The Rubber Band Man”.
