Robinson, a 2020 HHS graduate, was named the Horizon League Player of the Week.
Northern Kentucky finished 2-0 last week, knocking off Green Bay and Purdue Fort Wayne. Robinson led NKU in scoring at 21.5 PPG during the week, with a 26-point, nine-rebound performance against Purdue Fort Wayne — a team picked to finish at the top of the league prior to the season.
Robinson buried eight 3-pointers during the week — shooting 5 of 10 against PFW and 3 of 5 against Green Bay. His five made triples on New Year’s Day marked a career-high.
The graduate guard is performing at an All-League level this season, leading NKU in scoring (16.1 PPG) and rebounding (6.3 RPG) while shooting 53% from the field and 40% from long range.
Holden, a 2024 HHS graduate, was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week.
Holden turned in a complete stat line that included an 11-point effort in his first collegiate game to spark Wright State in a 74-51 home victory over Green Bay last Thursday.
Holden gave the Raiders a lift off the bench, playing 22 minutes and going 5-of-6 from the floor on the way to his 11 points.
Originally slated to redshirt, Wright State reversed course and Holden rewarded the decision, adding seven rebounds, three steals and a pair of blocks to his scoring output in his season and collegiate debut.
NKU heads to Youngstown for a huge Horizon League matchup on Wednesday, with tip-off slated for 6:30 p.m.
Wright State returns to action inside the Nutter Center on Thursday night, as the Raiders welcome Oakland for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
