Children’s to close Fairfield urgent care

Cincinnati Children’s Fairfield Urgent Care will close after Friday, the hospital announced today.

Cincinnati Children’s Green Twp. location opens April 29, and Urgent Care services will be staffed by the Fairfield Urgent Care team, according to the hospital. The Green Township facility will offer more services than what are currently available at the Fairfield location, said Danielle Jones, spokeswoman for Cincinnati Children’s.

Other services that will be provided at the Green Twp. location include psychology, laboratory and testing, X-ray and MRI, physical and occupational therapy, sports therapy, more than 20 pediatric medical and surgical specialty clinics, audiology and speech therapy, and psychiatry.

In July 2013, the Burnet (Main) Campus will provide Urgent Care services, and in early 2014, the Cincinnati Children’s Liberty Campus should also have Urgent Care services, Jones said.
